When Lydia (Holland Roden) goes missing from the hospital, werewolves and hunters alike begin a search to discover not only where she is, but what she may have become. Meanwhile Jackson's (Colton Haynes) body seems to be fighting against the bite.

The night before a full moon, Isaac's father (John Wesley Shipp) is murdered. When Isaac (Daniel Sharman) is arrested, Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) resolve to break him out before the Argents get to him.

Scott (Tyler Posey) tries to stop Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) from creating new werewolves, while Chris Argent (JR Bourne) decides to officially begin Allison's (Crystal Reed) training. Meanwhile, the new creature in Beacon Hills takes another victim.

When the shapeshifter strikes again, Scott (Tyler Posey) has to recruit a reluctant Allison (Crystal Reed) to acquire a rare book from Gerard's (guest star Michael Hogan) collection, while also once again surviving dinner with the Argents.

Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) becomes convinced that Lydia (Holland Roden) is the shapeshifter they're after since she seemed immune to its toxin, forcing Scott (Tyler Posey) to gather his friends -- and even some enemies -- to protect her.

With startling new information about the shapeshifter, Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) hurry to protect their friends while Allison (Crystal Reed) is given an investigative task by her family. And there is "panic at the disco."

Lydia (Holland Roden) makes connections about the bite from Peter (Ian Bohen). Jackson (Colton Haynes) causes problems for Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) while Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) has a crisis of faith in his leadership abilities.

During a secret concert, Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) come up with a method to trap the new shapeshifter. At the same time, Allison's mother (Eaddy Mays) comes up with a plan of her own to take care of Scott once and for all.

Even as his relationship with Allison (Crystal Reed) is further strained, Scott (Tyler Posey) must attend Lydia's (Holland Roden) birthday party while Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) locks up his new wolves on their first full moon together.

With a secret revealed, Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), Melissa and Stilinski are taken hostage in the Sheriff's station. Allison (Crystal Reed) then tracks Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) to the station, bringing Argent and Gerard with her.

Scott (Tyler Posey) must help win the championship lacrosse game while also trying to figure out how to stop Gerard (Michael Hogan). At the same time, Alison (Crystal Reed) and Argent (JR Bourne) continue their hunt of Derek (Tyler Hoechlin).

In the second season finale, although everyone is still reeling from a shocking death on the lacrosse field, Scott (Tyler Posey) and his friends rush to figure out Gerard's (Michael Hogan) master plan…but Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) has his own plan.
