As Rudeus discusses a possible escape with him, a group of people from the smuggling ring suddenly start attacking the village.

Rudeus, Eris and Ruijerd were welcomed into the village of Doldia race. Eris is happy to know that the village is Ghislaine’s hometown, but Gyes, who’s Ghislaine’s older brother, spits out that she’s the shame of their race. They immediately start arguing with each other. As it gets troublesome, and others are not sure what to do, Eris starts teaching swordsmanship to Minidona.

Rudeus and his team arrive in Millishion, the capital of Holy Milis Kingdom. To earn more money, Rudeus decided to stay in this city for some time. When he is taking a walk on the street, he comes across a kid being kidnapped. He follows the kid to save him and gets into a fight with the kidnappers, but these people are actually involved with someone whom Rudeus knows very well.

Rudeus met his father Paul again. But since Zenith, Lilia, Aisha and Sylphy went missing due to the teleportation incident, and that he had a fight with Paul, Rudeus is heartbroken right now. On the other hand, Geese persuades Paul, making Paul realize that it was a mistake for him to have scolded Rudeus in that way. He decides to meet his son and talk to him again.
