After accepting an award at work, a workaholic named Jane receives an anonymous threat and learns her boyfriend is hiding a dirty secret. Later, a man named Edward unintentionally puts his band in a tight spot following a rough encounter with Jane.

After getting involved in a fatal car crash, Jane finds herself in a mysterious hotel where she learns a hard truth. Edward lands a chance to open a bar and get his band a steady gig but encounters one spooky problem about the property.

While Edward continues his plans to renovate the place, the staff members of Evergreen Mansion discuss how to put a stop to it. A frustrated Jane inadvertently hurts Edward after failing to cross over, allowing him to activate a psychic sense.
