It is the day before Rajalakshmi's wedding and her family awaits her arrival from Bangalore. On arrival, she leaves straight to her closest friend's home. Rajalakshmi is in trouble and she believes it is only Kuriachan who can save her.

Kuriachan, who agrees to raise Rajalakshmi's child, struggles to persuade his wife Alice to keep the baby. Kuriachan reminds his wife of the financial advantage that that shall come from adopting the child.

Kuriachan eventually manages to convince Alice into adopting the child. Alice and Kuriachan decide to tell their children that the child was abandoned by someone on the roadside. Kuriachan's daughter,Elsa warms up to the child. She names him Chacko.

Alice and children inform Kuriachan that Rajalakshmi's child is blind. Kuriachan seeks an explanation for the child's blindness from Rajalakshmi through Gayathri. However, Gayathri refuses to meet him. Kuriachan begins to have doubts .

Gayathri ruthlessly spits out that she has no part in the deal between Rajalakshmi and Kuriachan and that he should not expect any help from her. Kuriachan confesses to Alice that he has been deceived.

Alice advises Kuriachan to abandon Chacko at a church. Although Kuriachan leaves with Chacko at night, he hides after seeing the commotion created by a car accident that took place in front of the church.

Unable to leave the child at the church, Kuriachan returns home. Alice forces Kuriachan to open the box he finds at the accident site. They are bewildered to find a sum of 25 lakhs within the box. Alice who now believes that Chacko is lucky.

Kuriachan decides to move with his family to a new home. Seeds of suspicion begin to take root in Chandrasenan's and Aravindan's mind over Rajalakshmi.

Gayathri advises Rajalakshmi that if Kuriachan decides to not keep the baby, they should temporarily move the child to an orphanage. Chandrasenan decides he needs the answers for Aravindhan's doubts regarding Gayathri and Kuriachan.

Chandrasenan questions Gayathri regarding Rajalakshmi but refusing to believe what she says, he decides to approach Kuriachan. During this time, Kuriachan and family prepare to leave town the same night.

Kuriachen and family quietly leave for Ernakulam at night. Gayathri conveys this information to Rajalakshmi. Chandrasenan decides to investigate the reasons behind Kuriachen's relocation. Xavior concocts many tactics to endanger Chacko.

Xavier hands over baby Chacko to a beggar in hopes of getting rid of him. Gayathri informs Rajalakshmi that Kuriachen and family have skipped town with the baby.

Kuriachen starts his own business venture. Through Monai, Chandrasenan lures Kuriachen to Moonar.

Kuriachan's life improves immensely. He appoints a lady by the name Mariya to take care of Chacko. With the birth of Aravindh's and Rajalakshmi's child, everyone has forgotten the existence of Chacko.

Rajalakshmi inquires about Kuriachan to Chandrasenan. This leaves Uma and Chandrasenan suspicious. Chandrasenan decides that Rajalakshmi will never see Kuriachan again.

Xavior destroys the violin Kuriachan gifts Chacko. Gayathri informs Chandrasenan that Rajalakshmi has begun her search for Kuriachan again.

Chacko tries to hide from Kuriachan the fact that Xavior bullies him. Chandrasenan is informed that Rajalakshmi has restarted her search for Kuriachan.

Kuriachan enrolls Chacko in a school for the blind. Chandrasenan is fully aware that Rajalakshmi is back to searching for Kuriachan and Chacko again.

Rajalakshmi arrives at Ernakulam to meet Kuriachan. However, Kuriachan pays no attention to her. Xavior is up to new tricks to remove Chacko from their life.

Gayathri advises Rajalakshmi to stop searching for Kuriachan as Chacko would probably be living happily. Xavier who is angry with Kuriachan, unleashes his anger towards Chacko.

Xavior who was to accompany Chacko to school, abandons him on the way. A lost Chacko finds his way up to Mary who was singing by the side of the road.

Kuriachan is informed that Chacko hasn't arrived at school. Chacko, who waits for Kuriachan, eventually leaves with Mary.

Kuriachan searches high and low for the missing Chacko and ultimately seeks help from the police. Veluchami's plans to get rid of Chacko are thwarted by Mary. Xavier and gang are ready to get rid of Chacko once and for all.

Kuriachan admonishes Xavier for endangering Chacko. However, he continues to lie to his father regarding the hand he has played in Chacko's disappearance. In the meanwhile, Xavier's goons find Chacko.
