The empire's weakest, yet high-level hunter, Krai Andrey. As the master of his clan, "First Step", he heads to the interview venue of new recruits, but ends up causing chaos with his careless words. Later, Krai is summoned to the Explorer Association and receives a relatively easy request to save a missing person. However, Krai throws all the work onto Tino!

The clan receives a rescue request at the "Nest of White Wolves". Tino, Rhuda, Gilbert, and Greg come together as a temporary team. The revolting Gilbert challenges Krai, and soon realizes the true talent Krai has with treasure hunting. Krai is relieved that he is able to have someone do his job once agai. However, the "Nest of White Wolves" seems to be transforming into a danger zone...

Tino and his team struggle against high-level phantoms. They usef teamwork to progress through the treasure hall against formidable enemies... and then comes the battle with the boss phantom. After a hard-fought struggle, they manage to secure a narrow victory, only for four new boss phantoms to appear! Faced with a desperate situation, Tino decides to retreat, but this plan also fails...

Lost in the treasure vault, Krai inadvertently discovers the stranded hunters mentioned in a forgotten quest. They are defeated by a deadly foe, "Embodiment of Grudge," which promises certain annihilation upon encounter. As Krai's group urgently tries to escape, they run into this Embodiment of Grudge. Its ominous aura overwhelms them, when suddenly, a mysterious masked figure appears...

Though Krai resolves a quest thanks to Liz, he now faces a new crisis—the Sitri Slime he was sitting on is gone, which could destroy the imperial capital. Worried, Krai abandons his concerns, passing the problems onto others, and goes on a date with Liz. Meanwhile, at the still-troubled White Wolf's Den, a vast conspiracy by the magic syndicate "Akashic Tower" unfolds underground.

Where did the Sitri Slime vanish? Krai decides to await Sitri's return for advice. Meanwhile, "Akashic Tower" mistakenly thinking Krai located their base, chooses to engage in full-scale conflict with the hunters. Oblivious, he attempts to delegate further investigation of the White Wolf's Den to Ark. But, his gaffe is misunderstood, resulting to form a massive hunter investigation team!

The long-awaited Sitri has returned. However, Sitri delivers a prophecy to Krai: if things continue this way, the team will be annihilated... In the treasure vault, the hunters face Krai's "Thousand Trials". Meanwhile, within the "Akashic Tower", the Sophia's plan for hunter annihilation is steadily being put into action — thus the battle between the hunters and the "Akashic Tower" begins!

Thanks to Sitri, the hunters survived the crisis. Moreover, Sitri pinpointed the enemy's headquarters. The hunters were about to launch a full-scale attack, when suddenly, they were struck by a deadly lightning magic from Flick, one of Akasha's top sorcerers. It seemed as if the hunters were annihilated....However, Krai finally made his move. The battle finally enters its final phase.

As the hunters raid the enemy's headquarters, they are confronted by a fierce chimera, a giant golem, and other enemies. Led by Noctus Cochlear, the members of “Akashic Tower,” pledge to recover from their defeat and join with Sophia, who has sneaked into the hunter's side. However, Sophia's was acting different from usual. Who appeared before them was...

Arnold Hail is a level 7 hunter and dragon-slaying hero. His party, “Falling Fog”, arrived with great fanfare in the Imperial City. However, Krai seems uninterested and instead, causes a stir over charging the armor that has run out of mana materials. Later that day, Krai enjoys a feast at a tavern with Liz, Sitri, and Tino... until Arnold and his friends appear.

Meanwhile, Krai goes out with Tino, but they unfortunately encounter the “Falling Fog”. Although Krai lets Tino handle the situation, she stands no chance against Arnold. Unable to ignore Tino being trampled, Krai finally steps forward to fight.

In a rellic shop, Krai discovers a hidden gem. Determined to obtain it, he tries to negotiate directly with the owner. However, the owner turned out to be Arnold! Arnold sees Krai's clumsy negotiation skills as a trap and decides to sell the treasure. But an interference causes the negotiations to fall apart, and the treasure is put up for auction.

The auction has finally begun! Krai, who borrowed a huge sum of money in order to bid for the only treasure he wanted, is overwhelmed by the many treasures on the stage. As Krai's patience reached its limits, the Akasha Golem that Sitri had wanted is brought into auction. Krai gives up on the treasure and bids everything he has into the Golem.
