Ji-ah, who lost her parents in a freak car accident on Yeougogae when she was 9 years old, becomes a producer of an investigative program called "Finding Local Myths." One day, she receives a report about a suspicious "monster".

Ji-ah finally meets the mysterious creature she had been searching for and believes Lee Yeon may be the last clue to finding her long-lost parents. However, Lee Yeon draws a line. Then, they both get caught up in a shocking incident.

Ji-ah and Yeon finally confront the truth of the past. They promise to focus on the present and stay together no matter what. Then, Yeon sets out to save Rang, who is in danger.

The Butler uses Ji-ah's parents as bait to threaten her in exchange for Yeon's body. Then, the Imoogi declares to Yeon that he will make Ji-ah his.

Ji-ah finally reunites with her parents after 21 years. However, Rang faces a new challenge after being released from the contract and sets out to find the Imoogi and Yeon to protect his loved ones.

Another Imoogi within Ji-ah emerges. Ji-ah and Yeon spend a mournful night before the tragic fate ahead. The pandemic spread by the Imoogi throws the human world into chaos. Yeon and a reborn Rang carry out a plan to end the endless battle.

Taluipa sentences Ji-ah to death and rejects Yeon's request to catch the Imoogi after he discovers how it switches bodies. Yeon now makes his final choice in the face of an ever-changing fate.

Ji-ah and Yeon have their final date, hiding their true feelings. A faint hope appears before them but is shattered by the Imoogi's wicked scheme.
