Lucky Heinz: Golden Businesses

At 7 a.m. every morning, Heinz Schmalzried opens his shop. Here, he buys gold, lends valuables and controls the work of his seven employees. However, this self-made millionaire no longer has time and is on a mission to train his successor.

The pawn shop is not only Heinz's daily workplace, a total of seven employees ensure the success of the business. Florian Baumgarten, the designated successor, has been under special observation and tensions at the shop rise.

On a quarterly basis, Heinz organizes a large auction of left-behind items for customers, including 30 watches that range from 5,000 to 12,000 euros. As a test, Heinz ventures on a multi-day motorcycle tour and leaves Florian Baumgarten in charge.

Heinz's last auction has a different status and offers things from his private property, watches, motorcycles, and cars, because he no longer needs them. As the successful auction comes to a close, he contemplates handing over the business to Florian.
