    Teal'c's body has been saved from death on Apophis' ship, but his mind is still loyal to his Goa'uld lord. Jaffa Master Bra'tac arrives at SGC to assist SG-1 in "de-programming" Teal'c. Bra'tac wants to put Teal'c through a Jaffa ritual called M'al Sharran in which the Goa'uld symbiote is removed and as he approaches death, the events that forged Teal'c will "wash across his mind like a wave."
