My Lovely Sam Soon

On Christmas Eve, Sam-soon catches her boyfriend cheating at the same hotel where Jin-heon is on a blind date. Later, he finds her crying in the men’s restroom. After losing her job, Sam-soon attends a job interview, only to discover Jin-heon is the interviewer. Furious, she throws a cake at him, but after tasting it, he offers her a job as a pâtissier.

Sam-soon starts working at Jin-heon's restaurant. Meanwhile, Hee-jin returns to Korea after three years, carrying a photo of herself with Jin-heon and hoping to reunite with him. On an arranged date, Sam-soon encounters Jin-heon at the same venue. He interrupts her date, pretending to be her boyfriend, ruining the meeting. Frustrated, Sam-soon threatens to quit her job.

Jin-heon asks Sam-soon to pretend to be his girlfriend in front of his mother. Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend visits Bon Appétit to order a cake for his engagement, leaving her feeling awkward. Later, Sam-soon discovers her mother is unwell and learns they are at risk of losing their house due to her late father’s co-signed loan. She starts searching for a way to save their home.

Everyone assumes Jin-heon and Sam-soon are dating, and Jin-heon plans a 100-day anniversary celebration, leaving Sam-soon confused. During their dinner, they run into her ex and his fiancée. Amid the tense atmosphere, Sam-soon suggests Jin-heon play the piano to lighten the mood. As he plays, Hee-jin enters the restaurant, and Sam-soon realizes she feels jealous.

Sam-soon takes a completely drunk Jin-heon to his apartment, where he insists she stay the night. Early the next morning, Hee-jin visits Jin-heon’s apartment. Later, Jin-heon confronts Hee-jin, asking if she has someone else and why he couldn’t find her name at the school she claimed to attend. His accusations and anger leave Hee-jin heartbroken.

Hyun-woo, who left Sam-soon claiming his love had faded, asks her to make a cake for his engagement to Chae-ri. Angry, Sam-soon considers spiking the cake with hot peppers but ultimately creates a beautiful, elegant cake.

At the Jeju Hotel opening banquet, Jin-heon glares at Hyun-woo as he approaches Sam-soon. Hyun-woo gives her a gift and urges her to end things with Jin-heon.

After returning from Jeju Island, Sam-soon grows anxious when Jin-heon neither shows up at work nor contacts her. She spends a restless night clutching her phone, waiting for a message.

Chairwoman Na enlists Sam-soon to create distance between Hee-jin and Jin-heon. Jin-heon is shocked when Sam-soon appears with his mother at a memorial service for his late brother and sister-in-law.

Before leaving work, Jin-heon pauses at Sam-soon's empty baking station. Smiling at the memory of her, he contemplates offering her a raise to win her back.

Sam-soon watches in shock as Jin-heon and Min-woo get into a fistfight. Jin-heon grabs her, pleading with her not to leave, but she resolutely pulls away.

Jin-heon pulls Sam-soon into a tight hug, confessing he can’t stop thinking about her. Overwhelmed with joy, Sam-soon cries like a child as he holds her close.

On Jeju Island, Sam-soon encounters Jin-heon. He tells her not to be shocked and suggests they create a new agreement to "pretend to be in a relationship for a hundred years." Sam-soon laughs off Jin-heon's suggestion.

Hee-jin attempts to remain distant, but her sadness and anger cause her to lash out at Jin-heon. He doesn’t fight back, instead holding her tightly while crying. Chairwoman Na, having discovered his contract dating, slaps Jin-heon, scolding him as a brat who toys with money.

Sam-soon is taken aback when Jin-heon and Hee-jin emerge from the elevator together. As Jin-heon tries to explain the situation, Sam-soon pushes him aside and tells him it feels like the three of them are in a relationship.

After two months with no word from Jin-heon, who had promised to return from America in a week, Sam-soon is furious at him for not reaching out. She had hoped to love as if she had never been hurt, but her tears reveal the harsh reality of her situation.
