The Midnight Romance in Hagwon

Seo Hye-jin, a star instructor, stays late at the academy. Jun-ho's name on the Hall of Fame reminds her of her proudest student. Meanwhile, Jun-ho quits his job to become a rookie instructor.

Despite Hye-jin's efforts to dissuade Jun-ho, he successfully passed the first written exam and was preparing for his test lecture. Determined, Hye-jin secretly approached Ji-seok, asking him to reject Jun-ho's application.

In a secret initiative called "Teacher and Student Unite," Hye-jin conducts a private tutoring session for Jun-ho late at night. In the quiet office, their focused gazes meet as they dive into an intense lesson. Meanwhile, the formidable Director Choi, nicknamed the White-Haired Witch, begins planning the expansion of her academy.

Hye-jin and Jun-ho's excitement for their joint lecture turns to dismay when only one student shows up for the free session. Director Choi Hyung-sun, known as the White-Haired Witch, discovers that Hye-jin and Jun-ho held their lecture despite having only one student. She meets with Si-woo, the sole attendee, to ask about the session and whether he plans to switch academies. After hearing his thoughts, she reaches out to Hye-jin for a meeting.

Jun-ho discovers that Hye-jin has been secretly helping him at her own expense. Determined to handle things on his own, he tells her he doesn't need her assistance anymore, leaving Hye-jin unsettled by his unexpected attitude. Si-woo visits the academy, sharing his concerns, prompting Jun-ho to redouble his efforts to help Si-woo improve his Korean grades.

Pyo Sang-seob informs Hye-jin that he will join Choisun Korean as a teacher, inspired by the mid-term incident to change careers. Hye-jin is surprised but still respects him despite their past argument. Jun-ho remains unaware of why Sang-seob's news unsettles her.
