In an effort to win over members of the rival group, Tenoch takes everyone to their first school party at News. There, everyone's secrets are revealed, and Tenoch realizes that Ricardo is a much tougher rival than he first thought.

The 1994 economic crisis, known as the "December Mistake," affects the lives of all Mexicans. And the super friends' own December mistake-going to News-also comes back to haunt them. Broken hearts are everywhere, but at least Marifer finally knows what she wants to be when she grows up.
