Ju-kyung gets bullied at school because of her appearance. On one tough day, she goes up to the rooftop and she goes to the rooftop and meets a man in a black hoodie. After her father loses money in a scam, her family moves, and she transfers to a new school.

Su-ho sees Ju-kyung without makeup and immediately realizes she's the girl from the rooftop. However, at school the next day, Ju-kyung is relieved as Su-ho acts as if he hasn't discovered her secret.

With the air cleared, Su-ho and Seo-jun are back as friends. Ju-kyung avoids Hye-min, who transferred from her previous school, fearing that she might recognize her. After breaking up with Su-ho, Ju-kyung learns he was the boy she met at the comic book store years ago. Now a university student, she interns at her dream makeup shop. Meanwhile, Seo-jun finally confesses his long-held feelings for her. Surprised and confused, Ju-kyung unexpectedly runs into Su-ho at a meaningful place.

Convinced of their feelings for each other, Ju-kyung and Su-ho go back to a happy and mature relationship. Meanwhile, Seo-jun, having let go of his feelings for Ju-kyung, focuses on his debut as a singer. Hee-kyung suggests to Su-ho that they include "Starlight" on Seo-jun's debut album.
