Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World

A year after the battle in the Sanctuary, Subaru and Emilia's faction enjoy peaceful days while preparing for the Royal Selection. Their calm is broken when Joshua and Mimi deliver an invitation from Anastasia to the Water Gate City of Priestella. Drawn by a rare mana crystal that could become Puck's vessel, they journey to the city, where long-awaited and fateful reunions await.

Sirius suddenly appears atop the clock tower and kills Subaru before he can grasp the situation. Refusing to accept this fate, Subaru rushes back to stop her atrocities and rescue a captive boy named Lusbel. However, an overwhelming fear paralyzes him. As he struggles to remain standing, Sirius's cheerful voice echoes through the air and her deadly chains fly toward him.

Emilia is saved from Sirius's flames by Regulus Corneus, the Archbishop of Greed, who declares her his bride while cradling her unconscious body. Undeterred, Sirius attacks again, attempting to engulf them both in towering flames. Elsewhere, Otto heads toward the Muse Company and discovers a guard brutally murdered. The killer soon reveals himself as Lye Batenkaitos, the Archbishop of Gluttony.

Searching for Liara's missing children, Garfiel and Mimi arrive at the city hall square, only to find dozens of Pristella guards slaughtered. Standing over the bodies are two cultists, a man wielding massive twin blades and a woman with a single-edged sword. As fear grips the city, the Archbishop of Lust, echoes through Pristella via the city's broadcast system.

Regulus revels in Emilia's confusion, declaring her the perfect maiden of his ideals. A woman known as #184 brings Emilia new clothes, and Emilia questions her about Regulus. Meanwhile, Subaru and Crusch abandon their rooftop battle with Roy, leaving it to Julius, and rush to the broadcast room. There, they discover a young girl bound and held hostage, under the watch of a terrifying black dragon.

After being swallowed by the dark torrent that floods Pristella, Subaru awakens to find Priscilla and Liliana at his side. They explain that Capella of the Witch Cult has issued new demands through a city-wide broadcast using the meteor system. Enraged, Subaru vows to punish the cultists. Priscilla, amused by his resolve, offers him a reward.

Al recovers a magic mirror from a defeated cultist. When activated, it unexpectedly connects him to Emilia, who reveals the locations of the Sin Archbishops and asks Subaru to protect Beatrice. Al conveys her message to Subaru, just as Garfiel bursts into the room, overwhelmed with emotion, throwing himself at Subaru while on the verge of tears.

Subaru, Anastasia, and their allies convene in the city hall conference room, joined by Reinhard and others, to discuss the Witch Cult's four demands. While they understand the Witch's remains, the silver-haired maiden, and the artificial spirit, the Book of Wisdom remains a mystery. Unsure if it even exists.

Subaru and Reinhard head out to confront Regulus, the Sin Archbishop of Greed, in order to rescue Emilia. At the same time, their allies split up to face the remaining Archbishops, Priscilla and Liliana battle Wrath, Garfiel and Wilhelm target Lust, and Julius and Ricardo confront Gluttony. As the simultaneous assault on the four control towers begins.

The Sin Archbishop of Lust, Capella, appears before Anastasia and the others at city hall. Ferris attempts to trick her into revealing a cure for Crusch's Dragon blood curse, but Capella dismisses him and takes him captive instead. Meanwhile, in District 3, Reinhard clashes with Regulus in a battle of the Strongest versus the Invincible. Despite relentless attacks.

Born into a family of minstrels, Liliana Masquerade set out on her own at just thirteen years old. Now celebrated as the Songstress of Priestella, her journey continues amid raging crimson and white flames. At the same time, Priscilla vents her fury at the Sin Archbishop of Wrath, Sirius, for her grotesque provocations.

Suspecting that Regulus' Authority is connected to his brides, Subaru sends Emilia to confront them. Returning to the half-destroyed cathedral, Emilia finds the women seated in perfect order, their empty gazes fixed on her. She asks for their cooperation in defeating Regulus, but the weight of their despair is overwhelming. Realizing that No. 184 has fully suppressed her emotions.

Otto, Felt, and their allies continue their fierce battle against Lye, while deep in the underground waterway, Al struggles against the endlessly regenerating Capella. Elsewhere, Garfiel transforms during his clash with Kurgan and narrowly escapes after being swallowed by a mass of flesh. Haunted by Elsa's phantom, he hesitates before advancing demibeasts.

Wilhelm crosses blades with Theresia beneath the moonlit sky, sparks flying as steel meets steel. Desperation fills Wilhelm's movements, while Theresia remains cold and emotionless. Their clash mirrors the wordless courtship once shared by the Sword Demon and the Sword Saint. Suddenly, Heinkel's voice rings out, causing Wilhelm to falter. Theresia turns her blade toward her own son.

Otto and the others hold their position while waiting for Felt to return with the "meteor," but they are utterly outmatched by Lye, who toys with them effortlessly. Meanwhile, at the Second District control tower, Julius and Ricardo face Roy, the other Sin Archbishop of Gluttony. Roy skillfully evades spirit magic and brute force alike, moving as if he knows their every action.

Beatrice awakens just in time to rescue Otto from being devoured by Lye. Mocking them with words taken from Rem's stolen memories, Lye proves himself a threat who must never meet Subaru. With Subaru absent, Beatrice is limited to only five spells. Burning through mana crystals, she unleashes devastating magic in rapid succession, yet fails to strike a decisive blow.
