Gunma surprend ses deux amis, Aoma et Mimi, en train de se disputer à propos des meilleurs manjus. Comment Gunma va-t-il désamorcer la situation ?

C'est un jour de pluie, et Gunma ne peut pas sortir. Que peut-il faire à la place avec sa famille réunie ? Il découvrira également les joies des concerts.

[What do you do on Sundays?] On a rainy Sunday, Gunma-chan is bored at home when she wants to play. So she decides to think of a "fun game". [The factory is amazing!] Gunma-chan and her friends came to visit the Tomioka factory with their mother's friend. [Haniwa Concert] Gunma-chan and her friends are invited to a concert by the Haniwa tribe and see the "Three Children" perform.

Gunmachan a envie d'apprendre et se pose plein de questions sur la vie. Il pense avoir trouvé la bonne personne pour lui apporter des réponses : le vieux sage. Il fait aussi la rencontre d'un groupe de musique en panne d'inspiration.

L'oncle de Gunma l'emmène une journée dans un parc d'attractions ! Pour adultes, précisément, ou du moins c'est ce qu'il prétend. On y trouve de la nourriture, des courses de chevaux, et surtout des paris… Gunma a le moral dans les chaussettes, et quelqu'un qui le connaît bien va lui montrer que tout le monde rencontre ça.

Quand Yûmi et son grand frère Gunma sortent jouer ensemble, ce dernier semble avoir du mal à s'amuser. Pourquoi donc ? Cette année se tient également la 1 000e édition des jeux mondiaux des haniwa, et Gunma et ses amis sont invités par le grand Kofun pour être aux premières loges !

Gunma a encore envie de découvrir de nouvelles choses, mais en allant voir le vieux sage, celui-ci ne semble pas dans son assiette. Deux ninjas débarquent dans la chambre de Gunma pour lui demander du travail.

Papa Gunma emmène Gunma et Aoma pour leur faire découvrir les joies du camping. Une fois sur place, les garçons devront apprendre qu'il ne suffit pas de jouer pour rendre l'expérience intéressante, et que collaborer permet aussi de s'amuser.

[Mimi and Papa] Mimi's mother is an actor and her father is a novelist. At home, her father is stuck in writing. [Aoma's house-sitting] Aoma stays at home alone. Her parents told her to do her homework, eat properly, and play games for one hour a day. [The Mysterious Morning of Gunma-chan] Gunma-chan wakes up in the morning, eats his meal, and goes out to play. The day begins as usual but...

Aujourd'hui, Mimi reste à la maison avec son papa, qui travaille sur son prochain roman. Elle essaie de l'aider dans son travail en accomplissant de petites choses pour lui, mais son papa a un cerveau de romancier et fonctionne différemment. Gunma, quant à lui, vit une journée très bizarre.

Gunma et Mimi partent à l'aventure lors d'une belle journée ensoleillée, mais Gunma a comme une impression de déjà-vu. Il se rend également au musée avec maman Gunma, et rencontre un grand artiste.

Pendant que maman Gunma s'occupe de préparer le thé, les deux ninjas en profitent pour faire leur réapparition ! Ces derniers veulent continuer leur campagne publicitaire et offrent leurs services gratuitement. Tout le monde profitera de leurs compétences en sabre… dans la cuisine.

Les haniwa sont en train de constituer un État, et le petit Gunma assiste à leurs débats passionnés, même s'il ne les comprend pas tout à fait. Gunma fait une nouvelle virée avec son tonton pour aller voir les bateaux… en espérant qu'ils arrivent dans le bon ordre.

Un mystérieux Tom Sisak est venu de l'espace emmener Gunma vers une destination inconnue. Il avoue en effet porter beaucoup d'espoir en Gunma pour sauver un astre situé loin dans l'espace. Gunma sera-t-il capable d'accomplir une telle mission ? Quels obstacles vont-ils se dresser sur sa route ?
