High School Return of a Gangster

Deuk Pal (in Yi Heon’s body) faces bullies, builds an uneasy bond with Se Kyung, and surprises gangsters with his combat skills. As suspicions grow and secrets unravel, a fierce school brawl ends with Yi heon declaring he’s Deuk Pal, second-in-command of the Chilsung Gang.

Yi Heon beats up his bullies, but instead of reporting them, he decides to reform them. He gains popularity at school, builds a shaky alliance with Se Kyung, and unknowingly eats pineapple—triggering an allergy that exposes his secret. Meanwhile, Jae min is roped into a gang kidnapping plot.

Deuk Pal and Se Kyung take a break by the ocean. Se Kyung opens up about his controlling father and the pressure he’s felt growing up. Later, his father shows up at school and calls for the violence committee. Meanwhile, Deuk Pal learns that Yi Heon’s mother has been taking addictive medication.

Deuk Pal learns that school bullies reported Yi Heon for violence and sends Dong Soo and the gang to bring in Lee Mi Kyung, who’s behind it all. Byung Chul urges Jae min to join in and accuse Yi Heon. Though Jae min feels guilty, he fears ending up in juvenile detention if the truth comes out.

Jae min confesses to bullying Yi Heon and other students, leading to the charges being dropped. However, Deuk Pal still needs to find Mi Kyung to keep her from threatening Yi Heon and his mother again. He decides to confront Chairman Bae to settle things. Meanwhile, Yi Heon’s soul returns and warns Deuk Pal that time is running out.
