Kuriaki Magi and Yaeko Kirihara witness a man passing by and being hit in the head with a Kojien dictionary, causing him to collapse and bleed. For some reason, the man refuses their help and the ambulance, and runs away with agility that is hard to believe for an injured person. The man calls himself "Mogura" and says something strange: "I can't die because I'm banned from the afterlife."
