Marriage Contract

After a car almost hits Eunseong, Hyesu passes out and is taken to the hospital. Jihun and Hojun mistake her for a con artist who fakes car accidents for money. Meanwhile, loansharks come looking for Hyesu and demand repayment, so she gets ready to move again.

Jihun tells Hojun to keep Hyesu from talking. Hojun asks Hyesu how much she heard. Meanwhile, Hyesu gets the results from her MRI.

Jihun and Hyesu agree to say they have been dating for two years. Hyesu gets a call from Miran, asking whether she loves him. Jihun tells Hyesu to live in his quarters.

To try to get closer with Eunseong, Jihun goes after Hyesu and Eunseong at a theme park. Meanwhile, Miran comes looking for Hyesu, saying she won't sell off her son to save her own life.

Eunseong says if Jihun loves Hyesu, then he cannot leave Hyesu like her father did. Na-yun asks Jihun if they can start again. Jihun introduces Na-yun to Hyesu.

Seongguk asks what made Hyesu fall for Jihun. She replies that Jihun is very kind, drawing a smile from Seongguk.

After learning the truth about the relationship between Hyesu and Jihun, Seongguk cancels the surgery. Meanwhile, there are signs that someone overheard Hyesu and Jihun talking at the restaurant.

Hyesu tells Na-yun that Na-yun is who Jihun has feelings for. Jihun says farewell to Hyesu.

Hyesu goes to the hospital and asks about her condition. The doctor tells her she has a 30% chance of surviving five years. Meanwhile, Seongguk directs Jihun to end things with Hyesu but Jihun cannot give Hyesu up.

Hyesu tries to push Jihun away and asks when they will go to court. As Hyesu's condition worsens, she decides to start treatment for Eunseong's sake.

Jihun finds out about Hyesu's condition from the hospital. Hyesu tells Ju-yeon that she wants to look pretty for the divorce. Hyesu tells Jihun to meet someone nice.

Jihun tells Hyesu to call him for anything. The loanshark comes looking for Hyesu again. Meanwhile, Hyesu goes on a trip.

Seongguk tells Hyesu that she was only after Jihun's money. Meanwhile, Jihun asks Hyesu if she ever wanted to do anything with a special someone.

Hyesu has Jihun promise that after she goes, he will go back to his role and duties. Hyesu's condition gradually worsens. Miran tells Jihun that she understands but cannot support him, so he should just do what he wants.
