Chandragupta Maurya

Chanakya heads towards the Magadha kingdom after the demise of Puru and Lachi in 323 BC. Bhairav suspects Dhananand's intentions and alerts Chanakya. He appreciates Amatya Rakshas's concern but declares that for the sake of his motherland, he will meet Dhananand. Chandragupta tricks a businessman with the help of his friends and gets in possession of some coins.

Chandragupta's friends find themselves trapped amidst the wrestlers. Chandragupta comes for their rescue but finds himself in trouble as the wrestler throws him away and then drags him down. Dhananand insults Chanakya in his court room and reveals that he is the real villain against the dream of 'Akhand Bharat'. Dhananand's obnoxious behaviour triggers Chanakya's rage.

Chanakya and Bhairav hide from the Magadha army because Dhananand has declared death sentence for Chanakya. Amatya Rakshas finds Chanakya but leaves him alive fulfill his duty as a 'Brahmin'. Lubdhak gives a harsh punishment to Chandragupta. Chandragupta reveals to his friend about the hatred for his mother, Mura. Pandu follows Dhananand's instructions and insults Mura.

Lubdhak reveals about his plan to loot a particular chariot to Chandragupta and his friends on the occasion of the birthday celebration of Dhananand in the Magadha kingdom. Chandragupta informs his strategy to his friends and declares that he wants to earn his freedom at any cost. Chanakya meets his friend and decides to choose one scholar.

The celebration of Dhananand's birthday begins in the Magadha kingdom. Chanakya and Bhairav decide to find out Murali among the crowd. Amatya Rakshas identifies Murali and replaces him with one of his men to trap Chanakya. During the celebration, a slave steals Dhananand's brooch. Mura gives her expensive possession and saves a child from becoming a slave.

Chandragupta collides with Mura while running away from the Magadha soldiers. Both of them have intuitions that they know each other but get lost in the crowd. Mura decides to find the child with whom she collided. The celebration of Dhananand's birthday begins. Mura's intuition grows stronger about Chandragupta's presence.

Chandragupta and his friends manage to deceive the Magadha soldiers and gain success in their plan to steal the targeted chariot containing money. Unfortunately, Sthoolbhadra gets caught by the soldiers. Chandragupta learns about it and decides to rescue his friends. He receives the greatest humiliation as he inaugurates his golden statue whose head is replaced by a donkey's head.

The box contains the head of the golden statue of Dhananand. Lubdhak is shocked to witness that he has been deceived by his partner. Chandragupta cuts his chains release himself from slavery after the completion of the task. Mura gets an intuition that Chandragupta is still in the Magadha kingdom.

Chandragupta and his friends manage to get out of the premises safely. Chandragupta learns about the terror on the youth because of the robbery of the head of Dhananand's golden statue. He is moved by the suffering and confronts the soldiers. Before Chanakya could reveal anything, Chandragupta vanishes away. Chandragupta drags the box containing the head of the statue into the courtroom .

A cunning Dhananand understands that Chandragupta is a slave and is trying to protect his master. Chandragupta informs everyone that the royal ring was witnessed in the hand of the dealer. Chanakya decides to save Chandragupta from the wrath of Dhananand.

Chandragupta's trick works as Pandu confesses his crime in the courtroom. He begs for Dhananand's mercy. Dhananand punishes Pandu by chopping his finger in. Daimaa orders the soldiers to take him away for medical treatment. Chandragupta convinces Dhananand to grant him an opportunity to live like a prince as per his demand.

Chandragupta and his friends play the game in. He gives his judgement over a typical issue brought by his friends. Chanakya is happy to listen to his judgment. He asks Bhairav to prevent the army in that particular area as per his plan. He requests Chandragupta to provide him the 'Pancha Dravya'. Chandragupta learns partial truth about Mura's whereabouts from Lubdhak.

Maitri conspires against Mura and reveals about the dress made by Mura for her son to Daimaa. As a result, Dhananand interrogates Mura to know whether her son is alive. He burns the dress after. Bhadrasaal informs Dhananand that Chandragupta has rejected the opportunity granted to him. Mura arises the rage of Dhananand. Chankaya decides to save Chandragupta from Dhananand's clutches.

Dhananand orders Pandu to hide his punishment from Durdhara. The slogan in praise of Pipliwaan's prince shocks everyone and they gather in the Magadha courtroom. Chandragupta's arrival shocks everyone until he reveals why he chose to be addressed as the prince of Pipliwaan. He suggests Maitri that Chandragupta's identity should be kept secret from both Mura and Dhananand.

Everyone waits for the arrival of Durdhara to the courtroom . Durdhara surprises Dhananand as she sits on the king's throne. Chandragupta's hope shatters. The grand celebration begins in the courtroom. Chandragupta finds himself trapped along with the tiger. He displays his skills and manages to escape from the tiger's clutches. Dhananand suspects the relationship of Mura and Chandragupta.

Chandragupta manages to escape from the tiger's clutches successfully. Dhananand suspects that Chandragupta can be Mura's son. He orders Amatya Rakshas to find the family background of Chandragupta. Amatya Rakshas asks Lubdhak about Chandragupta's family. Chandragupta continues his search for his mother in the royal palace .

Chandragupta takes the sword. He wins the bet against her and asks her to show Anthapur. Mura fails to control her emotions for Chandragupta until Maitri stops her from doing so. Durdhara keeps her promise and gives him a tour of Anathapur. Dhananand decides to end Chandragupta's episode after his meeting with Mura. Chandragupta does not meet Durdhara before leaving which annoys her.

Dhananand and Amtya Rakshas await for the arrival of Mura and Chandragupta. Dhananand informs Amatya Rakshas that he will kill Mura's son after Mura's confession. Mura hides from Chandragupta that she is her mother and introduces Veerbhadra as her son. Dhananand kills Veerbhadra Mura and Chandragupta. Chanakya also assures Mura that Chandragupta has the capabilities to end the reign of Dhananand.

Dhananand declares that Veerbhadra's dead body will not be cremated and adds that it will be displayed in Patliputra so that no one tries to go against him. Chandragupta somehow manages to convince Dhananand to allow the cremation of Veerbhadra. After Veerbhadra's cremation, Chandragupta leaves the palace. Chandragupta helps Chanakya hide from Bhadrasaal and his men.

Chanakya reveals about his plan to Chandragupta to crown him as the king of the united 'Bharat'. Chandragupta refuses to follow his instructions and returns to his friends. Mura successfully manages to distract Durdhara's attention from Chandragupta by revealing that he is a mere slave. He informs Bhairav that Chandragupta's lesson for becoming the king has already started.

Durdhara enjoys the cool air breeze distract herself from Chandragupta's insult. The way of Durdhara is blocked by a farmer. Durdhara ignores his plead and orders the soldiers to punish the farmer. Chandragupta intervenes and stops the soldiers from torturing the innocents. Bhairav does not understand Chanakya's intentions and asks him about the main purpose behind it.

Chandragupta is captured and brought near the place where Durdhara is kept as a hostage. He protects Durdhara and stands tall against the soldiers until they escape. Durdhara is angry with Chandragupta and decides to punish him. Mura requests Chandragupta not to stay in the palace as his life can be in danger anytime if he will fail in his task.

An emotional Mura confronts Chankya for sending Chandragupta in Dhananand's palace. Chanakya reveals his real intentions to Mura that he wants to draw Chandragupta's attention towards Dhananand's wrongdoing. Dhananand suspects Mura but she clevely inculcates in Dhananand's head that his friend, Seleucus can be the one. Chandragupta is shocked as his friends go against him .

Chanakya leaves no choice for Chandragupta except to become a spy for him and inform him about every incident . Chandragupta gives his words to him that he will do as per his instructions. The moment Chandragupta enters the premises , Bhadrasaal takes him where Dhananand is waiting for him. Mura has an argument with Chandragupta and she refuses to bow down Dhananand.
