Mallika gets no information from Bhaskaran about the person who was in possession of Prathiba during her disappearance. 

Mallika understands that Prathiba hides many secrets with her. She even suspects whether Prathiba is genuinely paralyzed. 

Mallika decides to call in a doctor to figure out whether Prathiba can in fact move her hands. When Anjana asks Prathiba how she managed to leave home.

Mallika brings home a doctor to diagnose the condition of Prathiba's hands. Prathiba and Anjana desperately think of a way to deal with the doctor.

The doctor testifies that Prathiba has not regained movement in her arms. What happened in reality is very different.

Prathiba reveals to Anjana how she got the doctor to cooperate with her. Suja's mother visits with news of marriage.

Shaji arrives for bride seeing. The ceremony is interrupted when the police arrive to arrest Shaji and take him into custody.

Shaji is arrested and taken into police custody. Suja decides that she will not marry any man except for Shaji. After experiencing a nose bleed, Manu calls Sona for help.

Manu begins to bleed when traveling with Sona. She struggles to get him into a hospital on time.

Doctor denies treating Manu at the hospital, unless Sona pays the fees. When she tries to inform Mallika about the situation, she dismisses it assuming that Sona is upto new tricks.

Sona who is unable to convince Mallika about her son's condition, contacts Anjana. When Mallika learns the truth from the hospital, she goes into shock and loses consciousness.

Anjana donates her blood to Manu, while Rajeev and Arun search for more donors.

Anjana decides to leave home believing herself to be the root cause of Manu's worsening health. Shaji arrives at the hospital on hearing the news.

Anjana's heart-breaking prayers for Manu's life, saddens Mallika. 

The doctor informs Mallika that Manu is getting better while Anjana prepares to leave Manu's home.

The change in Anjana worries Mallika. Although they depart together for the night, Mallika finds herself alone in the morning, with Anjana nowhere to be found.

The doctor informs Mallika that Manu is ready to be transferred from the ICU to a room.

Mallika's pleas to allow Anjana to help nurse Manu back to health is vehemently opposed by him.

Anjana decides that it will be difficult for her to be around Manu while she nurses him back to health. The doctor tries to change Anjana's mind. 

Anjana who has taken on the responsibility of nursing Manu back to health tries to instill discipline in him. 

With strict routines, Anjana helps Manu regain his health. She remains blind to Sona, who secretly brings Manu alcohol.

Anjana confiscates the alcohol that Sona has been secretly delivering to Manu. She then gives him a harsh warning.

The doctor informs all that Manu urgently needs a liver transplant. Manu rebels against the idea of accepting Anjana as his donor.

Sona brings alcohol to Manu again. However, this time he does not accept. Arun arrives to see Manu.
