Rakuro, as his character "Sunraku," a half-naked, bird-headed avatar, fully enjoys the world of Shangri-La Frontier. However, he finds himself in a dire situation after being poisoned during a battle with the area boss, the Gluttonous Snake. Meanwhile, Rei Saiga, known as Psyger-0, who has feelings for Rakuro, is in the city of "Fasteia," searching for Sanraku among the new players.

In the midst of a fierce battle with a Redcap, Sunraku suddenly encounters "Lycagon of the Night Raid," one of the "Seven Strongest Species." For a year since the game's launch, not a single one of the 30 million players have managed to defeat this unique monster. Sunraku fends off a lethal attack and retaliates, but the overwhelming gap in power remains insurmountable.

Recognized by Weissasche, the leader of the Rabbit Kingdom, Sunraku embarks on a journey with a special Vorpal Bunny named Emul. Meanwhile, he is summoned by his junk game companion Modol Katzo for a fighting match in the notorious game "Berserk Online Passion."

Sunraku faces the area boss "Mud Digger" in the swamp, a battle where conditions are far from ideal for him. Hindering by the swamp, he fights bravely with Emul's help. Meanwhile, among other players, the presence of Emul and the fact that Sunraku bears the curse of Lycagon on his body become hot topics. Two players approach Sunraku and his companion.

Arthur Pencilgon, known as the "Pencil Warrior," ambushes Sunraku. As the number two of the player-killer clan "Ashura-kai," she pressures Sunraku to disclose unique information. Animalia, obsessed with Emul, and Pcyger-0 rush to the scene. Their feelings intertwine around Sunraku.

In the midst of the battle, Sunraku realizes that he has been fighting timidly. With a renewed mindset, he begins to employ a strategy unique to a "crappy game hunter."

Sunraku challenges the area boss "Clown Spider" in the "The Jungle Labyrinth of Myriad Colors." Declaring a "no damage, no death" victory, he fights using new skills acquired in the arena. Meanwhile, Pencilgon summons Sunraku and the pro-gamer OiKatzo into another game's world. She presents the two beginners of Shangri-La Frontier with a startling proposal...

Emul is surprised to hear from Sunraku about his attempt to challenge the "Wethermon the Tombguard." Weissasche, sensing Sunraku's unwavering determination to defeat it, decides to forge Sunraku's weapons as a blacksmith. With renewed resolve, Sunraku, along with OiKatzo, heads to the "Ancient Iron Ruins" under the guidance of Pencillgon.

Sunraku and OiKatzo are diligently leveling up in the hidden area of the "Ancient Iron Ruins" to defeat Wethermon. The two face their target monster, "Livestide Lakeserpent," at an underground lake, and their excitement rises at the sight of the huge fish silhouette. During this, Pencilgon reveals to them that they need to converse with a unique NPC on the night of the full moon.

Sunraku and his group meet the unique NPC "Setsuna of Distant Days" in a hidden area of the "The Jungle Labyrinth of Myriad Colors." Sunraku and OiKatzo are startled by Pencilgon trying to fulfill Setsuna's wish. To prepare for an upcoming battle with the "Wethermon the Tombguard", Sunraku revisits the glitch-ridden fighting game "Constipation."

Sunraku, who researches every glitch related to "Constipation," fights with the confidence of a veteran, but Dragonfly, a rare endangered new player, showcases unknown glitch techniques...! Later, when Sunraku returns to Shangri-la Frontier and OiKatzo is busy leveling up, Pencilgon informs them that a problem has arisen.

On the night of a new moon, when the major summer update for Shanfro takes place, the members of the Ashura-kai, waiting for Pencilgon, find themselves in a pinch as they are ambushed by an allied clan that includes Psyger-0. Meanwhile, Sunraku, OiKatzo, and Pencilgon finally confront "Wethermon the Tombguard" in ”Garden of Secrecy.'"

"Sunraku and his two companions engage in a desperate battle against ""Wethermon the Tombguard"", utilizing resurrection items to their advantage. Ten minutes into the fight, Wethermon summons his tactical mount, ""Kirin."" OiKatzo faces off against Kirin but struggles against the enormous figure over five meters tall."

The battle with Wethermon the Tombguard moves to the next phase. Pencilgon and OiKatzo confront Kirin, which transformes into armor, utilizing rare items. Meanwhile, Sunraku launches a counteroffence to defeat the self-destructing Wethermon the Tombguard.

OiKatzo and Pencilgon unleash their decisive strategy against the Kirin, whose weaknesses is gradually starting to show. Sunraku realizes that surviving Wethermon the Tombguard's unavoidable secret technique 'Tensei' is the key to victory and faces the decisive battle.

Wethermon enters a long slumber, and Setsuna of Distant Days leaves a hint that gets closer to the truth of Shangfro. The first report, since the start of Shangfro's service, of a unique monster being defeated spreads to all players within the game. Then, the furious members of the Ashura-kai stand in the way of the three battle-weary individuals...

The defeat of 'Wethermon the Tombguard' causes a stir within Utopia Corporation, the developer of Shangfro. In the midst of a story that starts to unfold in an unexpected direction, Sunraku, while renewing his resolve, is also checking the spoils from Wethermon.
