Xi Yue is a logistics assistant at Mars Nova, a company that sells high-end cookware. She is a cheerful foodie, who is superstitious and believes in fate.

Martius wants to Xi Yue to make amends by searching for the Sup Tulang that Xiao is reminiscing about.

Martius is having lunch with a young, pretty girl and everyone in the office is guessing that Martius is intending to let her sell the pots, this makes Xi Yue uneasy, she fears she will be replaced.

Martius sees that everyone thinks he is interested in Xi Yue, he appears to deny it but it triggers memories of when he first met Xi Yue when they were kids.

Xi Yue meticulously prepares vinegar pork trotters; Richard is full of praise for it and this upsets Rachel, she decides to make it too, to impress her father and prove that she can cook.

Xi Yue tells Chen Guang that she needs to create a dish for the launch of a new pot and her boss says that it cannot be a repeated dish, he agrees to help.

Zann asks Xi Yue what Chen Guang likes, she realises that he likes herbs and barbecue. She conceptualizes a programme where handsome chefs are challenged to search for ingredients and cook on the spot.

On Xi Yue's first livestream, she gets tummy ache from drinking a herbal tea and starts passing wind live on the show.

Xi Yue is called a mistress and homewrecker during her live-stream, she is affected by it and is out of sorts.

Martius finds out that the culprit is non-blood related younger brother, Gordon. Martius wants Gordon to make a public apology and admit that he smeared Xi Yue but he refuses and they get into a scuffle.

Martius wants to surprise Xi Yue with the mushroom plant but he overhears her describing him as a dark cloud, and saying she should stay away from him; he leaves despondent.

Xi Yue is doing a livestream; a netizen comments that Xi Yue is leaving, the rest leave comments to ask her to stay.

Zann realises Alfred was involved with triggering Chen Guang's food allergy, she seeks justice for him, allowing him to rejoin the competition but she is flatly refused by Chen Guang.

Martius and Rachel attend a party and are surprised to see Xi Yue there as Chen Guang's partner, this is because Zann hurt her leg and is not able to attend.

In class, Martius comes across a red ingredient and faints, Xi Yue takes him home. Xi Yue does not understand why Martius faints often, Richard then reveals Martius' past.

Martius and Xi Yue spots Belle who is out walking her dog. They ask her to return home but she refuses and even uses her dog to scare Xi Yue who ends up getting hurt; Belle rushes off.

Gordon sabotages Martius by disseminating fake news that one of the pots that Martius distributes contains cancer-causing substances, this leads to many people demanding to return the goods and be compensated.

Chen Guang loses his sense of taste, Xi Yue accompanies him to Pulau Ubin for food discovery.

Xi Yue comes back to do livestreams, she explains that the pots are not cancer-causing.

Martius decides to ask Xi Yue out. While waiting for Martius, Xi Yue overhears Gordon talking to a guy, and discovers that they ganged up to sabotage Martius.
