Salaryman, Ryota Sato, opened his eyes and found himself in a strange world where everything comes from drops in dungeons. Ryota himself was dropped from a slime by a girl named Emily. When Ryota checks his own status with Emily's help, he learns that his level cap at level 1. Ryota was dejected learning about his low stats, but turned out, all of his drop rates are S ranks!

Eve came to Ryota and Emily's house out of nowhere. Apparently, she followed his track after she picked up the carrot Ryota dropped at the dungeon. Eve was looking for an "amazing carrot," so Emily welcomed her with her homemade carrot dishes. On the following day, Eve appears again in front of Ryota when he's trying to raise his stats at Nihonium.

The thing that the gorilla Outsiders dropped was a revolver. Ryota was surprised to find a weapon that shouldn't have existed in this world. Now that their stats have improved, Ryota and Emily decided to go to B3 of Tellurium where pumpkins drop. However, Emily showed strange changes when they encountered the Cockro Slime that looked like a certain "black and small thing."

After defeating a rare monster using his Freeze Bullet, Ryota obtained a necklace that doubles the drop of its wearer. After seeing Emily struggling to cook in a small kitchen, Ryota proposed that they should move out to a new place. On the following day, when Ryota was selling his bamboo shoots at The Swallow's Gratitude, an unexpected figure called out to him.

When Ryota was resting at The Swallow's Gratitude, the leader of what's said to be the most powerful group in Cyclo, Neptune, challenged him to an arm wrestling match. Although Ryota somehow managed to avoid some trouble, Neptune suddenly scouted him to join his family. Meanwhile, a natural phenomenon that makes people unable to use magic, the Magic Storm, is approaching Secro.

A strike occurred at the only dungeon that drops rice in Secro, Silicon. The group that occupied the sixth basement floor of the dungeon demanded a price increase on rice, or else they won't sell their rice. Ryota offered to cooperate in resolving the situation. On the following day, Ryota received a call from the dungeon master asking for his help at a new dungeon competition.

At the new dungeon Selen trash collection area, Ryota and Emily meet a pale beauty named Celeste who looked like she's about to collapse. Celeste uses her flame magic to burn the trash all by herself. Seeing how she's forcing herself to fulfill her job reminds Ryota of his previous life, leading him to help her.

A strong and dangerous monster; the Dungeon Master has appeared. Because of that, Selen became off-limit, and the amount of trash thrown increased exponentially. Worrying about Celeste for overworking herself, Ryota headed to Secro HQ to check on the situation regarding the Dungeon Master.

After Ryota, Emily, and Celeste return to Cyclo, Erza asks for their help regarding the annual harvest festival. In the middle of that, a rare drop turned into an Outsider and attacked everyone in the town. Although the Ryota Family managed to defeat it, Emily's hammer broke. Meanwhile, Eve started looking for Ryota in search of delicious carrots.

With the harvest festival closing in, the Ryota Family went out to search for rare monsters listed in Erza's high-price list. On the following day, Ryota went to Nihonium B5 and raised his MP, motivating him to learn a spell. Meanwhile, at The Swallow's Gratitude, an Adventurer girl, Alice, was looking for a party that would let her join.

It is finally the day of the harvest festival. Ryota, Emily, and Alice were looking at the stands when they found a strange shop that sells EXP. When the three were trying to raise Emily's level, they suddenly heard screams from the town. Turned out, that a monster had escaped from its cage and was attacking the townsfolk!

Ryota arrived at Nihonium and was fighting the Dungeon Master. All of his special bullets just went through it, and none of his attacks worked. Not only that, the Dungeon Master overwhelmed Ryota with its fast and overwhelming power. Although he sensed he had no chance of winning, Ryota decided not to give up and kept observing the Dungeon Master's actions and noticed something peculiar.
