A-kin, a marksman and the son of Chris, the chairman of Tavichiga Group, was once a celebrated idol in the city as a sports athlete. However, he becomes a suspect in the murder of his father, Chris.

After enduring a year in prison, A-kin is finally proven innocent when Vinnie, the lawyer, finds evidence confirming A-kin's absence at the time of Chris's murder. Released from prison, A-kin returns home but is shattered by the absence of his beloved father.

In the game, A-kin tasks Emily with finding his lifesaver, Nisa, only to discover neither Nisa nor Lek Sinthorn Hospital exists.

Nisa returns to the real world wearing the clothes A-kin bought her in the game. Muan, seeing her in identical attire, believes it's a joke until Nisa presents the bloodied clothes she acquired after saving A-kin. Taking him into Tana's secret chamber, Muan finally believes that Nisa has truly entered the game.

Nisa wakes to find she hasn't logged out despite being shot; there's no injury, only three days of unconsciousness. A-kin reveals he took her blood for DNA testing but found no clues. To return home, Nisa must disclose the truth.

Tana wakes up in a secluded place and sees Miken's news about the new version of Perfect World, along with the video of Nisa entering the game. He hurriedly returns to his apartment. Upon learning about Tana's whereabouts, Miken waits downstairs and demands Tana to hand over the source code of Perfect World 2.

To prevent Perfect World 2 from causing more harm in the real world, Tana decides to destroy it. He instructs Muan to take two hard drives to Miken and requests an upgrade according to his instructions. Believing Tana has changed his mind, Miken starts the upgrade. However, the game behaves like a virus, causing all characters to vanish except A-kin.

A-kin returns to the real world and searches for information about the Perfect World game in an internet cafe but fails to find the truth about Chris's death. On the other hand, after Tana clears the virus and restores hidden game characters, A-kin disappears, and no one knows where he is.

A-kin points a gun at Tana, who believes A-kin won't harm him as he's a programmed game character. To convince A-kin, Tana decides to return to the game with him. Tana orders Evan to stop the water in the bathroom from freezing in mid-air, claiming it's impossible in the natural world but achievable in a programmed world. Despite A-kin's resistance, he eventually accepts the truth.

A-kin disappeared, and the game lost its mainframe. To keep the game running, Aling and the team of scriptwriters crafted a new story-line for a faceless game character to replace A-kin and carry on the tasks within the game. They named this character Raging Sun.

Aling and the scriptwriting team were managing the game's development, yet they found instances where characters behaved beyond their control. This became even more evident when Nisa entered the game.

Upon waking up in the hospital, Tana rushed back to the apartment upon learning about the game. He arrived just in time to witness Raging Sun choking Nisa. Muwan remotely locked the bathroom door using an external program and messaged Nisa about Raging Sun's true identity.

Nisa stumbled amidst the chaos of the rioting crowd, but A-kin appeared just in time, embracing her amidst the turmoil. A-kin apologized to Nisa, regretting his earlier outburst. She empathized, recognizing that A-kin had always been driven by the quest to find Chris's killer, feeling lost now without a life goal.

After Raging Sun entered the real world, he finally realized that the world he existed in was just a game. However, upon returning to the game, he discovered another A-kin inside. Raging Sun took a phone from A-kin's apartment, calling A-kin to demand that he leave Raging Sun's place.

Executing the time machine command, A-kin returned to the moment of being attacked on the rooftop. Upon waking up in the hospital, it felt like A-kin had a long dream - his story with Nisa.

Raging Sun brought a bomb to the company building and installed it in A-Kin's car. But when A-kin and Leo prepared to board, he hesitated. His sense of justice told him this was wrong, so he decided to abandon detonating the bomb.

A-kin wanted to visit Vinnie the lawyer in the hospital, but it was surrounded by reporters. Nisa, familiar with the hospital's layout, suggested taking a secret passage to get A-kin inside.

Due to A-kin being shot, Raging Sun, as his substitute, was also injured. Raging Sun asked Maiken to remotely treat him, but with the bullet still inside, his health couldn't improve, forcing him to manually extract the bullet from his body.

A-kin, through the video and memories from his dream, began to realize the truth, but he couldn't completely believe his perception was accurate. So, Nisa proved they were in the game by shooting herself harmlessly in front of him. A-kin and Nisa woke Evan, asking for his help in creating a pair of VR glasses, then returned to the real world.

Although A-kin was in the real world, his thoughts were consumed by the people in the game, leading him to mistake others for Leo. When Nisa asked about A-kin's true feelings, he mentioned wanting to fulfill the promises the original A-kin had made to her. This saddened Nisa deeply; what she needed wasn't A-kin fulfilling promises but him loving her and leading a fulfilling life.

Maiken discovered Aling's assistance to A-kin in rewriting the storyline and replaced her with a new writer named Mark. Mark rewrote Chuni's storyline, once again placing blame on A-kin. A-kin initially planned to let Emily and Leo pursue their own lives freely and return to the real world to live with Nisa.

Nisa fell after being shot, prompting A-kin to command Evan to execute the logout command for Nisa. They disappeared in front of Chuni. Although Nisa wouldn't have the gunshot wound in the real world, her brain suffered an impact similar to Tana's previous condition, leaving her in an unconscious state.

A-kin and Raging Sun approached Evan inside the mainframe to ask why Raging Sun got injured when A-kin did. Evan explained that Raging Sun was a specialized incarnation based on A-kin's mainframe code.
