The protagonist woke up in the middle of a forest. He found out that he is in the form of a dragon egg that is only able to roll, and is a delicious prey to all kinds of monsters that live in the forest. As he tries to protect himself from the monsters, a mysterious voice starts talking to him.

The protagonist, the Baby Dragon, managed to communicate with Myria, a human. But before much can happen, a Little Rock Dragon attacked. Myria and the other adventurers are defeated, and the protagonist has no way to win in his current form. His only choice is to run or die.

After running away from the Little Rock Dragon, the Baby Dragon has fulfilled the requirement to evolve. Among the possible evolutions, one dragon has the "Human Transformation" skill that allows it to gain the looks of a human. Meanwhile, Myriad talked to Marielle about the Baby Dragon who saved her...

After evolving into Young Plague Dragon and getting more skills, the protagonist's livelihood immediately improved. In order to improve QoL even further, he went to the forest to look for vegetables, seasonings, and even something to use as furniture. Meanwhile, Myria enters the forest alone.

The Young Plague Dragon was suddenly attacked by a Black Lizard. In order to cure the poison from that attack, he has to capture the Black Lizard alive. And so, he has to endure the pain while he chases after the lizard.

While living together with Black Lizard, the Young Plague Dragon has finally learned Human Transformation. As he still wishes to live among humans, he went out to try that skill. Meanwhile, Meltia and Yuno are searching inside the forest when they find a weirdly decorated cave.

The fierce duel with the Giant Orangurang has ended, and with that, the Young Plague Dragon has now become the orangurang's clan boss. Meanwhile, Meltia and Yuno stopped at a town to wait for the other party members. Not knowing that, Myria decided to enter the forest again.

The Young Plague Dragon is finally reunited with Myria. After driving back the monsters, the dragon finally manages to communicate with Myria. It was then that she asked him, "Mister Dragon, do you have a name?" Meanwhile, someone is riding on the back of monsters, heading toward the village...

Doz ran, carrying an egg that lured the Little Rock Dragon into the village where Myria lives. In order to rescue the villagers, Illusia and Myria headed straight to the village. However, Illusia remembers how he was stabbed when he first brought Myria into the village when he was a Baby Dragon.

The village is devastated by the rampaging Little Rock Dragon, and Illusia desperately fought it so that the humans could evacuate. However, with a huge difference in power, Illusia has no way of winning in his current form. To win, he needs to become a truly evil dragon...

After evolving into a Plague Dragon, Illusia managed to defeat the Little Rock Dragon. However, after evolving into an evil dragon, he couldn't live beside humans and returned to the forest. Realizing that his poison might hurt Black Lizard and the Orangurangs, Illusia decided to leave the forest.

Illusia came face-to-face with the slime that was the culprit behind the village's destruction. Illusia is determined not to let that slime get away, but he is overwhelmed by the slime's many skills. Not to mention, that slime also knows about a certain being that only Illusia should've known.
