Mario takes on the unforgiving alpine mountains of the South Island of New Zealand in a grueling fallow deer hunt with his bow just at the end of the rutt and cooks an impressive masterpiece venison pie dish on the same antler of the deer he harvests.

During the monsoon season in Australia's outback, Mario joins a longtime friend in search of wild buffalo. In the middle of nowhere, he attempts to cook a mouthwatering South American-inspired dish.

Mario teams up with good friend and precision rifle expert Bernard and heads into the high alpine mountains above New Zealand's rugged West Coast in search of tahr. Drawing on his Greek roots, Mario cooks a rustic "Kleftiko" dish in an earth oven.

Mario Kalpou travels to the outback desert of Australia in search of feral camels that have been running rampant. What seemingly feels to be a simple task quickly turns into one of the most unexpecting challenges to date.

Mario and Rick Pollock, current world record for kingfish, head to New Zealand to fish off a live volcano. While there, chaos ensues when the volcano erupts, forcing Mario to return his catch of a massive bass grouper.

In the back country of the deep south, Mario traverses the outer-limits of the mountains in search of a monster red deer. While there, his arrow successfully finds a big red and later reveals the recipes he learned from the southern region of Italy.

Mario returns to his homeland to help a friend hunt wild boar and catch prehistoric fish from a billabong. While there, Mario finds himself in crocodile-infested water snatching fish with his bare hands, and prepares a meal in a makeshift termite oven.

Mario enjoys the camaraderie and challenge of duck hunting on opening day. Later, he joins an award-winning chef from New Zealand to cook an ancient Chinese recipe.
