Insha, a young photojournalist new to Mumbai, who nearly steps in front of an oncoming train while searching for a crucial paper on a railway platform. She is dramatically pulled back by Ved, an investment banker. Insha, mistakenly believing he was harassing her, initially calls him a 'pervert'. Once the misunderstanding is cleared, she discovers the lost paper.

The narrative shifts to a security briefing where Ved is revealed to be a high-ranking investigator tasked with tracking a potential female terrorist. Intelligence has identified the suspect as Insa Baig , a beautiful, well-educated woman who is presumed to be radicalized because her parents died in an Army shooting in Kashmir, and her uncle is linked to terrorists.
