As the dry season takes hold of a lion pride territory, together, they capitalize on weakened elephants, fight off rival lions and see new cubs into the fold, sparking Einstein, a member of the Waterfront Pride's inevitable eviction.

The Waterfront Pride continues to harass drought-weakened elephants that traverse their territory. Kalwezi’s cubs are enjoying a happy introduction to the family. Meanwhile, Einstein is now a nomad, exploring new territory and facing daily challenges.

The rains bring relief to many, but the lion prides struggle to hunt in the lush habitat, their prey has more cover, but the predators lack camouflage. The Waterfront pride fragments while Einstein forms a coalition.

The end of the wet season approaches, and things look better for the Waterfront pride. Pressures arise, relationships in particular; Einstein attempts courtship, while rival Mad-Eye-Moody still holds Keeza captive.

The Waterfront pride takes advantage of the dry season. Einstein claims a small territory and joins forces with two new males, also ousted from their pride. A new chapter begins as Einstein’s new mate approaches his territory with three cubs in tow.
