Mike and Alison welcome the first guests to their new bijoux B&B, determined to get a glowing review, whatever the cost. The plaguers idolise Thomas, much to the Captain's irritation. And Pat teaches Mary the joys and pitfalls of package holidays.

Mary tells Julian how she found her voice. Thomas goes 'cold turkey' on his Alison addiction. Old friends tempt Mike with a too-good-to-be-true business idea. Lady Button's buried secret is uncovered and Kitty teaches Captain to live in the moment.

Can the Ghosts find a way back into Alison's good books after she gives them the biggest telling off of their lives/deaths? Mary decides she's not taking the blame this time. Alison and Mike discover that trying to relax can be a stressful endeavour.

A booking mix-up sees Mike and Alison forced to host a last minute children's party, armed with all the wrong ingredients. And shocking news sends the Ghosts into a tailspin until Alison and Thomas find a way to bring them all together.

Alison and Mike's irritating neighbour spots a business opportunity which prompts all out war between them. The Ghosts make a surprising new friend, while Mike secretly invests in some unorthodox entertainment for the guesthouse.

Mike and Alison reach boiling point over the guesthouse. Julian tries to prove he is far more selfless than everybody thinks. A new addition to the breakfast room triggers frightening flashbacks for Robin - forcing him to face his biggest fears.

A festive trip down memory lane prompts Pat to question his whole identity. The Ghosts come up with a surprise Christmas present for Alison, while Mike and Alison's Christmas day does not go to plan.
