Born Again

A strange encounter in present-day Seoul hints at something deeper. Flashing back to 1986, Detective Hyungbin hunts a serial killer targeting women with yellow umbrellas, while his fiancée Haeun, hiding a serious illness, grows uneasy as danger creeps closer to home.

Haeun collapses after she witnesses a murder scene; Hyungbin finds out that it was Jicheol who brought Haeun to the hospital.

Jongbeom runs into Sabin at the university and finds out that she had a heart implant when she was young; Sabin hears rumors about Jongbeom that he's actually a psychopath and has killed someone.

Jongbeom visits a woman's house to do the errands for her, and she asks him to have a drink with her.

Soohyuk saves Sabin from a car accident; Sabin's heart starts to pound for Soohyuk.

After the discovery of the remains of a buried baby, Jongbeom and Soohyuk face each other as a prime suspect and a prosecutor; Hyemi, the writer of "Secrets of a Murderer," says that Jicheol was never a psychopath.

Soohyuk lost his father, who believed in humanity; after his death, Soohyuk has been fighting against beast-like criminals. Jongbeom's feelings for Sabin grow bigger, but he finds out that Sabin has feelings for Soohyuk.

Soohyuk investigates what happened when Jongwoo almost drowned and found out Jongbeom was at the lake before the incident. Jongbeom shows up where Sabin is, using the tracking application.

Sabin gets stabbed and is taken to the hospital. Soohyuk finds out that it was Jongbeom who incited to murder. Sabin notices a tracking app on her phone, and she assumes that Jongbeom was following her all along.

Soohyuk sees Jongbeom on the camera that showed the place of the attack on Detective Ju. Soohyuk believes Jongbeom attacked Detective Ju; Jongbeom notices someone robbed his house and realizes that his painting is missing.

Taeha takes Jongbeom to the hospital; Jongbeom's mother falls into despair as the doctor tells her a bullet is in Jongbeom's head and that it damaged his brain. There's a rumor that Jongbeom went to America.

Feeling confused, Hyungbin heads to the Old Future; he asks the owner about the burial site of Haeun. After Jongbeom opens his eyes, he introduces himself as Jicheol in a test at the hospital.

Jicheol and Inu finally meet; from their conversation, Hyungbin realizes that Inu killed all of those women in the past; the police completes the face of the death-row convict found by the sea.

Sanga goes to trial, and Detective Ju testifies that it was Sanga who stabbed him, but Hyemi denies all charges as her lawyer; Seoktae keeps trying to stop Soohyuk from digging into Jicheol's case, but Soohyuk is determined.

Seok Tae gets into trouble after police arrest Gong In Woo for the Yellow Umbrella Murder; as the crisis deepens, Hye Mi presses Tae Ha to take care of Su Hyuk; So Tae Ha decides to put an end to it all; Sa Bin wakes up at the hospital.

Soohyuk submits his resignation and visits Taeha to apologize, he suggests the retrial for Taeha's brother; Sabin tells Jongbeom that it was Seoktae who killed Jicheol in the past.
