Viola Vitale, former Miss Italy, moves from Paris to Palermo to work as a journalist in the editorial office of Sicilia Web News. The real reason for her trip, however, is much more important and mysterious and is linked to one of her super powers: synesthesia. It is thanks to this ability, which allows her to read people's feelings through a color.

For her first news report, Viola collaborates with Inspector Demir to find out who tried to kill a 16-year-old boy. This investigation leads her to discover that even her synesthesia can mislead her and that the truth is not always what it seems. Tamara, meanwhile, urges Viola to get Demir's help in the search for the father she has never met.

The death of a beauty parlour owner prompts Viola to question prejudice and how it affects people's lives, including her own. Indeed, she sees Demir only as a Don Juan, but an unexpected encounter will perhaps change her mind. Meanwhile, at the editorial office, Viola is still trying to gain recognition from Claudia.

During the search to find her father, Viola meets the young and charming Raniero who, struck by her beauty, invites her out to dinner. Will Viola be willing to accept? The death of a bank manager's wife then leads her to focus on the investigation and to understand something about her past. Demir, meanwhile, meets Farah, a mysterious girl who could wreak havoc in his life.

While Demir tries to extract information from Farah, Viola prepares for her appointment with Raniero. Meanwhile, both Demir and Viola are caught up in a new case. The victim is the owner of Siciliana Solventi, a company on which journalist Domenico is conducting a thorny investigation. The case will lead Viola to reflect on the importance of the truth.

Viola is torn as to whether to reveal to Demir what she has discovered about Farah, but her attempts end in an argument. Working together on a road investment case, however, brings them so close that Demir helps Viola to trace a mysterious trip that the girl's mother supposedly made to Palermo 10 years earlier. What they discover will shock Viola.

While the newsroom is shocked by the arrival of an unexpected guest, Demir and Viola investigate the death of a woman in a cold storage room. Meanwhile, Viola tries to organise her love trip with Raniero.

After Claudia's announcement about possible staff cuts, the journalists vie for the director's attention. All except Tamara, who with the help of Demir and Viola is busy solving a complex family matter. Tamara's father, in fact, has been stabbed. Viola, meanwhile, receives a phone call from a mysterious man, while Demir finds himself discovering something shocking.

Viola and Demir deal with the case of a young cyclist who has been hospitalised for possible poisoning, but guilt over Farah's disappearance leads Demir to take a break from work. Meanwhile, Viola discovers the whereabouts of the man who phoned her, thus arriving at a surprising truth.

A murder investigation leads Viola to meet Sonia, Demir's mother. She will find herself playing the role of his girlfriend for him, thus learning about the most intimate and private aspects of Francesco's family. While Demir faces an internal police problem, Viola comes face to face with the man in the phone call.

In the newsroom, Tamara suffers Alex's absence and Claudia asks her for help to sign up for a dating app. The murder of a fisherman, meanwhile, leads Viola to take the main suspect's story to heart, but solving the case will lead Demir to a shocking discovery.

Viola feels like a new person, but is unable to help Demir with his investigation, despite the inspector's request for help. Having lost all hope of finding her father, Viola decides to leave for Paris, but the discovery of the identity of the mole puts her life in danger. Will Demir be able to save her?
