Clark and Lois are enjoying small town life. However, Lois’ undercover assignment reveals a deadly foe that promises to change the Kent family forever.

ELIZABETH HENSTRIDGE DIRECTS THE EPISODE – Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik) both notice a small crack in Lois’ (Elizabeth Tulloch) game face. Meanwhile, Sarah (Inde Navarette) and Jordan (Alex Garfin) have an awkward encounter. Lastly, Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) receives a panicked phone call.

Lois and Chrissy pursue a new lead in the investigation against Clark's wishes. Jonathan, Jordan, and Nat's attempt at a kind gesture is complicated by an unexpected obstacle.

TENSIONS MOUNT – Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) interrupts an intense conversation between Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and John Henry (Wole Parks). Meanwhile, Kyle (Erik Valdez) tries to run interference between Sarah (Inde Navarrette) and Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui). Lastly, Jonathan (Michael Bishop) has a heated discussion with Candice’s dad.

DAVID RAMSEY DIRECTS – Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and General Lane (Dylan Walsh) are both having a hard time giving Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) room to make her own decisions. Meanwhile, Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and Sarah (Inde Navarrette) have a run-in with an old friend at the diner. Lastly, Natalie (Tayler Buck) has a surprise visitor.

HOPE VS TRUTH – Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) finds himself in uncharted territory, and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) bonds with a new friend. Meanwhile, Superman pays Bruno Mannheim (guest star Chad Coleman) a surprise visit. Lastly, Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) puts Sarah (Inde Navarette) in charge while she’s away at a meeting with Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik).

Lois and Clark dig deeper on Bruno Mannheim, starting with his connections to Hob’s Bay Medical Center, while Jonathan and Jordan panic at home over Lois’ dire diagnosis.

After learning that Bruno and Peia are married, Clark convinces Lois to take Bruno down. Natalie meets Matteo’s parents for the first time, with disastrous consequences.

Superman and John Henry clash over how to handle Bruno Mannheim, while Lois worries over upcoming treatments and confides in Lana about her early courtship with Clark.

Lois attempts to interview Peia in the hopes of unearthing the truth about an old case, while Clark struggles to spend quality time with the boys.

Clark helps Lois prepare for a procedure but must leave the boys with her to help John Henry and General Lane track down the Mannheims.

Lois and Clark clash with Jordan over his carelessness around using his powers in public. Jonathan struggles with Kyle’s change in behavior. Lex Luthor is released from prison.

SEASON FINALE – All of Smallville comes together to view a meteor shower, Lex Luthor (guest star Michael Cudlitz “The Walking Dead”) makes his move.
