Way Back Love

Living without any will to go on, Hee-wan is visited by Ram-woo, her first love who died four years ago, now appearing as a grim reaper to tell her she'll die in a week.

For one week, Hee-wan reluctantly helps the reaper Ram-woo fulfill his bucket list. Flashbacks to their school days reveal that both Hee-wan and Ram-woo were once very different from who they are now.

Hee-wan and Ram-woo visit a campus for the bucket list, where teaching assistant Yeong-hyeon warmly reaches out to the outsider Hee-wan. As their past keeps missing each other, the reason Hee-wan lost her will to live comes to light.

To fulfill the "meet high school friend" item, Hee-wan sees Hong-seok, but an awkward air lingers between them. Their last graduation trip resurfaces, and the knot of misunderstanding with Hong-seok comes undone.

Hee-wan names her own bucket-list wish: to see Jeong-suk, her art teacher and Ram-woo's mother. Despite his objections, she goes and confesses to Ram-woo the feelings she couldn't share in high school.

On the day Hee-wan is destined to die, the two long for an ordinary day, but she can hardly accept parting with Ram-woo. Meanwhile, teaching assistant Yeong-hyeon sets out to find her.
