Missing You

After returning from the United States, Jung-woo meets a mysterious girl named Soo-yeon, who asks if he remembers her. Realizing she is the girl who once gave him a yellow umbrella in the rain, he searches for her at his new school to return it. Instead, he learns that Soo-yeon is infamous as the "murderer's daughter."

Branded the "murderer's daughter," Soo-yeon is relentlessly bullied and lives with her head bowed in shame. Jung-woo promises to be her friend and keeps that promise even when she asks to remain "secret friends."

After sharing their deepest secrets and scars, Jung-woo and Soo-yeon become true friends, their bond growing stronger despite relentless bullying and jealousy. But one night, while on his way to meet Soo-yeon, Jung-woo is ambushed by mysterious attackers.

Haunted by the guilt of leaving Soo-yeon behind, Jung-woo tells Detective Kim everything that happened that night. After learning the truth, Detective Kim promises to find her.

Despite their desperate search, Jung-woo and his family find no trace of Soo-yeon, clinging to the hope that she is still alive. Fourteen years later, Jung-woo has become a detective. Still unable to let go of the past, he visits Sang-deuk, the kidnapper responsible for Soo-yeon's disappearance, just before his release from prison.

Soo-yeon returns under the new identity of Joy, a successful fashion designer, with her longtime partner Harry by her side. On a rainy night, Jung-woo hears a hauntingly familiar voice outside Harry's home.

When the mysterious woman calls Jung-woo by name, his confusion deepens. Noticing Joy's shaken reaction, Hyung-jun becomes increasingly uneasy. Unable to ignore what he witnessed, Jung-woo tells Soo-yeon's mother that he has seen someone who looks just like her long-lost daughter.

Joy struggles to remain composed after her repeated encounters with Jung-woo, but realizes her emotions are beginning to waver. Meanwhile, convinced that Joy is the Soo-yeon he has been searching for all these years, Jung-woo sets out to confront her.
