I PARRY EVERYTHING

Aspiring adventurer Noor is assessed as talentless at the capital's training schools. Undeterred, he continues to hone his 'Parry' skill for over a decade. Although Noor can now parry a thousand wooden swords, he registers at the adventurers guild as a bottom-rank adventurer, spending his days doing menial tasks.

The girl Noor saved turned out to be Lynne, princess of the Kingdom of Clays. She insists on rewarding him, but Noor declines, satisfied with her gratitude alone. However, Noor eventually gave in to Lynne's persistence and ended up visiting the royal castle for an audience with King Clays.

Divine Spear and royal spear master Gilbert challenges Noor to a mock battle. Although everyone expected a quick resolution, their fight ends with an unexpected outcome. After returning from the royal castle and resuming his chores, Noor is approached by Lynne, who seeks to become his page.

Noor finally gets the chance to take on a job outside the city thanks to Lynne's Silver rank. Eagerly heading to the forest to hunt goblins, he encounters a massive Goblin Emperor-a terror that shouldn't even be there. Meanwhile, Rein investigates strange incidents around the capital and receives a report from the Shadow Company about a conspiracy that could shake the entire kingdom.

Monsters appear throughout the royal capital of Clays, and the Six Saints, along with the Kingdom's main forces, rush to defend the city. While the Kingdom's forces are preoccupied, Noor and Lynne encounter a Black Death Dragon during their journey.

Noor rescues Rolo, a young boy born with the power to control monsters-a trait that marks him as one of the demonfolk. Feared and mistreated since childhood, Rolo has endured a harsh life because of this ability. Yet Noor recognizes Rolo's unique talent and offers him words of encouragement without a hint of prejudice.

Rolo's assailant turns out to be Zadu, a former S-rank adventurer turned serial killer known as the Deadman. Zadu hints that something big is approaching the royal capital, but his intentions remain unclear. Meanwhile, Prince Rein, having repelled a devastating assault on the capital, stays on high alert for further threats.

The Dragon of Calamity has appeared in the skies over the royal capital. King Clays tries to confront it, but Noor interrupts the fight and [Parry]'s the dragon's mighty blow. Locked in a fierce battle, Noor parries the dragon's every attack and corners it. Although the dragon is bewildered by an unprecedented sense of defeat, Noor doesn't fight like the heroes of legend.

The mighty Magic Empire finally breaks its non-aggression pact and invades the Kingdom of Clays. Against these overwhelming odds, Noor boldly faces the Imperial Army alone to buy time for Lynne and the others to escape. With the Black Blade in hand, Noor parries the entire army and even the magical artillery Brionac, filling Emperor Deridas III with an overwhelming sense of dread.

Noor manages to save the Kingdom of Clays, but Emperor Deridas III of the Magic Empire escapes to the Imperial Capital. With the help of the Dragon of Calamity, Noor and his companions pursue him. Using Ines' power, they break through the Imperial border's defenses and set their sights on the capital.

As Noor and his companions storm the Imperial Capital, Emperor Deridas III fires a massive mana beam at them. Noor manages to [Parry] it with all his strength but is blasted away by the recoil. When Lynne and the others catch up to Noor, they find him caught between Emperor Deridas III and Imperial warriors who have turned against the emperor.

The battle is over, and the Kingdom of Clays has begun its reconstruction. As Noor diligently clears the rubble, memories of his childhood resurface-how he was told he had no talent, how he never gave up and kept pushing forward, and how he studied under the Six Sovereigns, his former instructors.
