When a woman is brutally murdered in the night and her body left outside the Women’s Safety Centre, veteran Detective Pamela Green is certain a man is responsible. But in a world where men are under Curfew from 7pm to 7am, that shouldn’t be possible.

Disobeying orders, Pamela investigates the men in Helen’s life despite Eddie’s concerns about her methods. The police learn that Paul died after being tasered and Sarah was facing a lawsuit. An awkward romance between Sarah and Ben begins to form.

Pamela and Eddie find the site of Helen’s murder, but Pamela’s maverick ways get her into trouble with Ferguson. The men in Helen’s life find out about each other. Billy is put in an awkward position, but Cass is missing and nobody has seen her.

One evening during Curfew, a week before the murder. Eddie’s perfect plans fall apart. Billy is drawn into a toxic masculine online culture. Helen doesn’t feel safe in her own home when a persistent client starts harassing and threatening her.

Pamela is shaken by new evidence that the killer is a woman. Cass crosses a line at an event at the school, which leads to a confrontation between Sarah and Helen. Sarah is released on tag but evades the police. Pamela realises Cass is in danger.

The police race against time to save the hostages during a tense stand-off with everything on the line. But as the truth is finally revealed, there was more to Helen’s murder than anybody knew.
