Tomorrow, Pride turns 16 and becomes an adult. With it comes the pride that demands she demonstrate her worthiness as a princess. Tense, she presses on with preparations. Meanwhile, Stale and Arthur are concerned about the existence of her fiancé, who will be announced at the celebration. The next day, at the birthday celebration, it is announced that Pride's fiancé is Leon.

In order to prevent the tragedy that awaits Leon and ensure his happiness, Pride plans a top-secret visit to the Kingdom of Anemone. With the cooperation of the Queensguard Knights, Stale, and others, she completes her preparations and sets the plan in motion. Meanwhile, after returning to the Kingdom of Anemone, Leon struggles between understanding his role as the king the people desire.

Leon woke up in a tavern in the town below the castle, witnessed by the patrons in a drunken stupor, and his identity was nearly exposed. Pride and her companions rescue him from the predicament. Pride told Leon that Erwin, the Second Prince, and Homer, the Third Prince of the Kingdom of Anemone, are the masterminds behind this incident.

Determined to take action for the sake of his beloved kingdom and its people, Leon returns to the castle of the Kingdom of Anemone with Pride and her companions. He immediately confronts his father, King Gregorio, and reveals that Erwin and Homer had been plotting to frame him. Erwin and Homer claim their innocence with a fabricated story that cast the Kingdom of Freesia as the villain.

Leon kissed Pride as they parted ways. Taken aback by Leon's unexpected and bold action, Pride also realizes that Leon loves her without being bound by the game's world and its settings. Upon returning to the Kingdom of Freesia, Pride reports the annulment of her engagement to Leon and the misdeeds of Erwin and his group.

While sharing drinks with Alan and the other knights, Arthur begins recounting the night when Leon was rescued. Specifically, the conversation he overheard between Pride and Leon through the door. Alan and the other knights asked if something had happened between Arthur and Pride, but the tipsy Arthur instead started showering them with praise.

One day, Cedric, the second-born prince of the gold-abundant Kingdom of Cercis, visits the Freesia Kingdom to negotiate an alliance. In the original game's storyline, Cedric is supposed to be Tiara's future fiancé. But for some reason, he shows an unusual and intense interest in Pride instead...

After acting in a completely inappropriate manner, Cedric incurs Pride's wrath. The following day, he apologizes to Pride and attempts to move forward with the alliance negotiations between the Kingdom of Cercis and the Kingdom of Freesia. However, due to certain circumstances, the negotiations are temporarily put on hold.

Even before the alliance is formally concluded, Cedric attempts to return to Cercis. Caught off guard by the sudden turn of events, Pride summons Cedric to her chambers to hear the circumstances directly. There, it is revealed that Cedric's older brother, and king of Cercis, Lance, has fallen into madness.

Six days remain until the Freesia's Royal Knight departs as reinforcements for the United Hanazuo Kingdom. Pride visits Cedric, and the two end up speaking through a closed door. Regretting his past words and actions and painfully aware of his own helplessness, Cedric listens as Pride reassures him that everything will work out.

Thanks to Arthur's ability, Pride and her companions succeed in restoring Lance to his senses after his bout of madness. Four days later, when they once again visit the Kingdom of Cercis for the defensive battle, they discover that the Kingdom of Chinensis has refused aid from Cercis and sealed its borders. Even under such circumstances, Lance still wishes to save the Kingdom of Chinensis.

Responding to Cedric's feelings, Yohan resolves to fight. Without delay, he withdraws the declaration of surrender to his people and announces that they will stand alongside the Kingdom of Freesia and the Kingdom of Cercis in the coming defensive battle. However, the citizens strongly oppose involving Cercis.
