While on leave, soldiers Yu Sijin and Seo Daeyeong intervene in a robbery, bringing Daeyeong face-to-face with someone from his past and Sijin with someone he hopes to meet.

After completing a dangerous mission in Afghanistan, Sijin returns and crosses paths with Moyeon for the second time.

Kang Moyeon struggles with her feelings for Sijin but rejects him due to their conflicting lives. Meanwhile, Sijin is deployed to Uruk, where Moyeon is later sent with her medical team. Their reunion is tense yet filled with unresolved emotions.

In Uruk, Moyeon and Sijin continue to clash, but their bond deepens. She faces challenges treating patients, while Shi-jin protects her during a tense encounter with armed men. Despite their differences, sparks fly as they grow closer in the unfamiliar land.

Sijin unexpectedly kisses Moyeon, leaving her stunned and confused. Later, when Moyeon is about to fall off a cliff, Sijin rescues her just in time, bringing a new twist to their relationship.

Sijin launches a solo mission to save Moyeon from Argus. With backup from Daeyeong, they defeat Argus and his men. As Moyeon is rescued and Myeongju begins to recover, the team reflects on their time in Uruk before heading home.

Back in Korea, Sijin and Moyeon try to settle into everyday life, but their worlds clash. Moyeon opens up about her fear of losing him, while Sijin remains committed to his duties, causing distance to grow between them.

Sijin takes on a dangerous mission, leaving Moyeon anxious. When he goes missing, her love for him becomes undeniable. Daeyeong and Myeongju also wrestle with the hardships of loving someone in uniform.

Sijin and Moyeon spend many happy days together. However, there is no end to the strife between Daeyeong and Myeongju. The Alpha Team gets sent on a long-term operation to fight a battle that can’t be lost; and Moyeon feels insecure about it.

Believed to be dead, Sijin and Daeyeong make a sudden return, rekindling love and everyday life.
