Kazuma Sato's day is going great. Then he dies and reawakens in an alternate reality.

Kazuma has formed a party of adventurers. Their first challenge: defeating an army of delicious flying cabbages.

The leader of the Devil King's army comes to town seeking revenge; Aqua removes a curse.

Aqua is locked in cage to protect her from attacks by Brutal Alligators. When the gators have gone, however, she refuses to leave the cage.

Megumin loves annoying the leader of the Devil King's army. So he brings his army to town to kill her and everyone else.

Needing money to pay off debts, Kazuma and his party takes on a quest that looks easy, but it's a snow job.

Kazuma and Aqua encounter another one of the eight leaders of the Devil King's army. It's the friendly, cute one.

Kazuma, Keith and Dust go to a shop run by succubi who provide male adventurers with much needed relief by giving them erotic dreams.

Kazuma's party, along with Wiz, are chosen to lead the attack against the Destroyer; they manage to take it down, only to set off the self-destruct sequence.
