Spring of 2006, Nak-won's family are moving in to the cheap accommodation for students. On the first day at the new school, Na-moo saves Nak-won from a troubled situation. Nak-won starts to have interest in Namoo nad comes close to him.

Nak-won's family treats Na-moo warmly. Happy Na-moo comes back home but threatened by Yoon Hee-jae. Ok-hee, suspicious of Yoon Hee-jae's cheating, follows him and witnesses a shocking scene.

Spring 2015, Yoon Hee-jae publishes a book about his personal experience in the prison. Do-jin, a student in police college feels uncomfortable by that book. Jae-yi comes to the movie shooting location to encourage her senior actress Chun Sae-kyung. There she encounters Do-jin.

Han Ji-ho keeps paparazziing Jae-yi and other reporters also tries to dig her past. Jae-yi's hurtful past is revealed and Do-jin is sorry to her. He saves her again from the reporters but their paths are estranged.

Do-jin reveals what Yoon-Hee-jae talked on the TV is all lie. Jae-yi is troubled after it is revealed that she is the daughter of Ji Hye-won, but she makes her mind to come to the front by doing the interview. On the day of Do-jin's graduation of police college, the family of the victims come to the graduation to complain to Do-jin.

Jae-yi is In the dressing room after she has received the best new actress. She faints after she sees the present delivered to her. Do-jin, who has become the policeman, chases after the criminal but is attacked. They are both taken to the emergency and there they encounter again.

Do-jin is on Jae-yi's case. He realizes that the hammer delivered to her has something to do with Yoon-Hee-jae. Jae-yi is caught in a movie set by some unknown person. And that night she hears a Christmas carol which bring her back the nightmare memory of her past.

Hyun-moo is pointed out as the criminal of the movie set case. Do-jin chases after Hyun-moo to protect Jae-yi. Hyun-moo comes out of Ok-hee's shop after being violent in the shop. He grabs a weapon and come to Jae-yi's house. There he encounters Do-jin.

Hyun-moo attacks Ja-yie's car garage. Do-jin tries to stop him and gets hurt. Jae-yi moves Do-jin to the hospital. Do-jin is in surgery and Jae-yi and Ok-hee wait for Do-jin to recover.

Because of mayhem, Hee-jae is shut in a punishing cell. After a month, Hee-young comes to him and Hee-jae explodes again. Do-jin is recovered and he goes on a trip with Jae-yi.

That little pretty girl? Park Hee-youg is dead. Do-jin investigates the criminal scene. When he finds a hammer and a burnt rug, he reminds Yoon Hee-jae. Yoon Hee-jae is brought in front of the prosecutor. He tells Moo-won about Jae-yi and threatens.

Do-jin sets out to investigate Hee-jae's copycat. Jae-yi is concerned about Do-jin. Their relationship deepens. Hee-jae, while moving in a convoy bus, meets an accident.

Yoon Hee-jae jail breaks. Jae-yi hears it and worries. Do-jin comes to her and suggests that she stays with him for a while. Hee-jae is on moving. He appears at Ok-hee's restaurant.

Do-jin is mad at Hee-jae's evil act. He presses Ji-hong to find out about Jeon Yu-ra. Do-jin chases after Jeon Yoo-ra. Hee-jae comes to a bamboo forest to look for the hammer he had hidden 12 years ago.

Jae-yi is kidnapped. Hee-jae telephones Do-jin and threatens. Do-jin is enraged that he come to Hee-jae holding the hammer which was in the chamel house of Ji Hye-won. Hee-jae and Do-jin, father and son, encounter at the past place of 2006. They start a duel for the fate.

Moo-won goes to the dog farm to save Jae-yi. The police are also with him. Hee-jae suggests Do-jin to be an evil after him. Do-jin is enraged but he is in agony that he cannot hit him with the hammer.
